This #moth is a #beauty. Unfortunately, #gardeners call #Cydalima perspectalis a pest and try everything to kill the invasive #insect, often with very toxic pesticides. Larvae eat box tree leaves.
I rescued the moth from my room to a plant. Crazy? My 50 yrs old box tree survived all the attacks. We have more natural methods: Spraying the insects with water from plants on foil and collecting them, pheromone traps, nematodes or bacillus thuringensis ssp. kurstaki, and especially natural enemies!
