Vitaly is CISO for Netflix. Technology and Security executive with almost 30 years of executive leadership experience in the industry. He leads the Information Security organization at Netflix. Previously, he spent many years at #Google SanDisk, #Symantec and #VERITAS.

When you first meet Vitaly, you’d think he is one of those “get off my lawn” type of guys. He is somewhat quiet, has a slightly sour demeanor, and occasionally says things that keep you on your toes. But as I got to know him more, I couldn’t help but be won over by his sharp intellect and wry sense of humor. 

Vitaly has the knack to unpack complex technical concepts for a business audience and vice versa. His ability to move effortlessly from deep technical concepts to broad business and societal impact is uncanny. It also does not hurt that behind all that steely appearance, there is a warm and funny human being underneath. And the gravitas is real; it only comes with years of real experience in the deepest of trenches. When Vitaly speaks, I just want to soak up every word as my mind is opened to new directions with his direct and open take on today’s technology challenges.
