Single images can be decorative. Lots of them can still give an impression of a product (physical/service/software).
Describe the product in text for those who can't see or understand the pictures. Enable some, support many!

When my mobile data plan runs out of gigabytes, I still get connection, but throttled to 128KB/sec, which really makes me appreciate:

I wish this platform would default accept my #CamelCase tags. It takes extra effort to back up and make #climateemergency into #ClimateEmergency
This is needed from readers and screen readers. If you know a bit of how children learn to read it carries over to how people read and Camel Case is just helpful for any tag without spaces to delimit the words. Make reading easier for all folks. #CurbCutEffect

CW: Thoughts about content warnings
You know, when I first got mastodon I enabled "always expand posts with content warnings" because I have a thick skin and wanted to catch moderation issues.
But honestly people also use them as a synopsis of long posts and an interest filter so I think my general recommendation for most people is to let content hide itself.
This is a great example of the #CurbCutEffect. An inclusive feature has universal utility. Just remember to include actual CWs!

Like, maybe I didn't get the joke or realize what the emphasis of the picture was, but the alt text made it clear that I should be focused on the llama in the background and not the bag of kit-kats in the foreground.
