NOTE: This is a future forecast for Wednesday.
From Ryan Hall Y’all on FB: Still watching Wednesday for the Northeast.
We flagged this one a few days ago, and SPC just held firm on it: a 15% severe risk area over New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. What's notable is that their forecasters called this out as the day they have the most confidence in right now, more than the days around it. We're still 5 days out, so details on exact timing and which spots see the worst of it can absolutely shift. But this one has stuck around long enough that it's worth keeping on your radar.

The sun was out for 3 seconds, friends. It was glorious. I have photographic proof, see below. See how everything is green & overgrown? Yeah, that's my front yard. Notice the round glowy thing up top of the photo? That's the sun. Allegedly. There's shadows and sun on the driveway pavement, if you need more proof of it's existence. About 1 second after snapping this mundane shot, the clouds came back. #ctwx
