Avui és el darrer de la #API de Twitter amb accés gratuït. A partir de demà caldrà pagar per accedir-hi. Quins canvis notarem? Deixaran de publicar en el #fedivers tots els #crossposters i bots replica?
Els bots replica que tenim aquí els desactivaré aquesta tarda perquè no vull pagar ni un cèntim a Twitter. -
A partir del 9 de febrer la #API de #Twitter serà de pagament (https://techcrunch.com/2023/02/01/twitter-to-end-free-access-to-its-api/).
Els bots que s'hi connecten no podran replicar aquí el contingut d'allà. @colegeocat, @radioarrels i @llenguacat ja no publicaran més contingut (no tinc cap intenció de pagar a Twitter).
Deixaran de funcionar els #crossposters? voldran pagar l'accés a l'API els que els gestionen? -
The funny thing about people using #twitter #crossposters, or just still being very active on twitter, is that they'll post something here that includes the text of a tweet with a link to the original tweet.. and I'll click the link, and see a #mastodon user in their bio, and sure enough, that same post that they essentially cut & pasted from twitter is also on mastodon in original form. They could've just boosted it (or, if we had functional QTs, done that).

No recomano en absolut fer servir 😖#crossposters com ara #Moa. Al fer-ho, li estem donant accés total al nostre compte de Mastodon i al nostre compte de Twitter a un servei de tercers que no sabem què en farà.
Si ho heu fet, podeu treure-li l'accés visitant aquest enllaç i clicant "revoca" on digui Moa.

Masto protip: if you insist on #crossposting from twitter to mastodon, at least turn off retweet #crossposts!
Generally, masto users aren't keen on twitter>mastodon #crossposters in general. But RTs are obvious and ugly and annoying and if we wanted twitter content we'd be on twitter.
Ideally, you'd spend your time on masto and #crosspost your toots to twitter. But, you do you. Just a heads up that set and forget automated content from twitter is generally not cool here.

Ugh I've seen a few people say their toots are being shared to bird site without asking. Please check your cross posters. Mine is set so I have to actively choose to share a toot (via a hashtag) and I don't share replies or boosts. Be polite people! #CrossPosters #etiquette #polite #BeNice

Does anyone know if it's possible to get the Mastodon<>Titter crossposter to grab reply notifications from Titter and send them back to Mastodon?

@spla no están permesos els #crossposters però si utilitzar el #tweettotoot que has fet per fer crossposting? Crec que és algo que no queda molt clar...perquè hi han comptes que funcionen amb #tweettotoot i està permès però no és permès les comptes que utilitzen altre software....
