Gen X moment: Got a short story rejected partly because the phrase ‘unaccompanied minor’ implied the mom was bad parent. Um, *I* flew as an unaccompanied minor twice a year for 11 years, and both my parents sacrificed to pay for me to spend time with the other parent.
