#WordWeavers 9/7: Describe a moment when one of your characters realizes they've made a terrible mistake.

Ooooooh, big spoiler, but I'll still share (some of) it. When our MCs finally find a mysterious and enchanted mirror they've been searching for, things go tits up. Elric decides to take on its dark, twisted power from Zerika, who's suffering from the magick and succumbing to its will, and later finds that it's a horrible mistake.

#PennedPossibilities 1122: SC POV: Do you have a favorite meal? Who makes it for you?

Grigga: I make it, of course. I own a tavern in Marelance. One of my favorite meals to make for the customers (and myself) is stewed rabbits with onions and other veg. Rabbits are plentiful in this area. My son catches them for me as often as he can, and they’re quick and easy to skin for a large group of people. I’ll braise them with onions, carrots, mushrooms, and peppers, and then add a bit of red wine to help soften the meat. It’s usually served with bread as well, which I bake daily.

Kindness. He would say that it's the abundance of kindness in his ancient heart. To go one step further, he would also admit that it’s both his greatest strength and his biggest weakness. Others would agree with him, but they would certainly argue that it isn’t a weakness, only a strength.

I think I've picked my next read. Well I narrowed it down to two books anyway. I'm either going to read Foxglove by Adalyn Grace or Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett. If Libby delivers my hold tomorrow I'll be reading Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries. If not, I bought a copy of Foxglove. Either one is fine by me.
