#GWE (GreenWithEnvy, what a cool name) was the perfect app for #NVIDIA users on #Linux to set up fan control (and maybe even overclocking, don't remember) a la #MSI Afterburner on #Windows - too bad it hasn't yet been updated to support #Wayland desktops, hope it'll get there someday though.
Someone on the GWE repo did recommend an alternative that supposedly works just as fine and even supports NVIDIA drivers on Wayland called #CoolerControl. Unlike GWE, no #Flatpak support though but it is available in the #AUR. Might try this until GWE comes around.

Ok, wow, another #Linux thing just happened that I didn't expect to work:
I noticed a high-pitched sound coming my new system, pressed the super key, typed in „fan“, opened #CoolerControl, saw that two #fans were running at 100%, turned of of them to 85% (which Just Worked(tm)!111?!), noise is gone 🤯
Thanks, #Bazzite! 😍
(It's also kind of mind-blowing to me that #RGB control works out of the box with #OpenRGB, what magic is this!?)
