  11. Air Fryer users. My son & his partner gave me one for Christmas & I finally used it to cook some chicken pieces. They turned out lovely, crispy skin & all that, but I have two items to wash afterwards instead of just the one I normally would use in an oven. Normally I cook x amount of chicken pieces (or whatever) in my small fan forced oven. Have what I want with my meal & put the extra still in the same container in the fridge to cool for either the next day or freezing, sometimes both. One container for washing!
    Does anyone use some sort of liner for the basket? I don’t have a dishwasher so theoretically I could easily have 2-3 items to wash each time I use it. I get why people love them, but as I’m the dishwasher & cook I’m rethinking their practicality for my use. No point if I’m giving myself extra work! #AirFryer #CookingForOne

  15. I'm not a #food photographer clearly lol. This Thai red chicken curry over Jasmine rice looks much better in person and tastes really good

    My first time using a rotisserie chicken (and taking all the meat off the bone right away, like a grown up lol). And microwaveable single serving rice. And a dash of fresh lime

    Made one of my current staples today:

    1.5 cups brown rice, cooked
    1 can low sodium black beans
    1 can low sodium Ro-tel tomatoes
    1 bag (12-16 oz) frozen spinach
    1/4 cup lime juice

    Frozen into eight 1 cup servings.

    Not fancy pants cuisine but easy, cheap and healthy.
