I guess I'll put this out there since now I've met @guffo who's having the same issue.

My work laptop is Windows 10 and after Leap Day this year, my Teams shows meetings a day ahead for some reason on the calendar, but with the correct date on the meeting itself. Nearly missed a meeting Monday, but luckily since the day itself is correct on the meeting, it notified me and I noticed it. All the meetings still just show on the wrong day - a full day ahead.

Tried restarting Teams, the whole machine, nothing. Can find NOTHING about it online anywhere. Any ideas to fix are welcome, or anyone else dealing with this, or anyone else who wants to talk about how shitty Teams is. 😂

Y-y=0.2425; 4*(Y-y)=0.97=1-0.03 (+1 if divisible by 4)
100*(Y-y)=24.25=(25-1)+0.25 (again -1 if divisible by 100)
400*(Y-y)=97=4*(25-1)+1 (again +1 if divisible by 400)

That is to say,
Using logical and modulo operators, the year n is said to be a leap year if and only if:
(n mod 4=0)∧((n mod 100≠0)∨(n mod 400=0)).

In other words, a year is a leap year if it is evenly divisibly 4, except for years that are evenly divisible by 100 but not evenly divisible by 400.

For example, 2024 and 2028 are leap years; 2100 and 2200 are not, but 2400 and 2800 are.

This is our clever method to ensure that our calendar stays aligned with our seasons or Earth's orbit over time. If nothing were done about this discrepancy, our calendar would slowly drift out of sync with the Earth's orbit and seasons. After 100 years, we would be off by about 25 days! So, to fix this, we add an extra day, February 29, to the calendar every four years, with the exception that a year evenly divisible by 100 is not a leap year unless it is also evenly divisible by 400 (as shown in the calculations).

Seeing multiple independent issues around a leap day — a well known feature of the calendar for over 2000 years, makes me think that not only is there a new date-time library out in the wild. I haven’t seen such widespread gross incompetence since leftpad.

If I had to bet money on it, I think node, or some other server side JavaScript, is to blame.

Saying this novel library doesn’t support leap seconds is droll. I’ll do one better. I don’t think this library actually implements the Gregorian calendar. Nay! I suspect it says it supports the Gregorian calendar, but actually implements the Julian calendar.

I'm late for the leap day festivities, but I do want to mention that one of the best shows I ever saw in my life happened on Feb. 29th in 1996 - Chick Corea's Quartet at Binghamton University. It was the Time Warp tour with Bob Berg, James Genus and Gary Novak. I was the crew coordinator for the concert and got to jam briefly with Berg and Genus during the soundcheck when Novak was a few minutes late.

The concert was astounding, with mostly originals, plus two Bartok pieces.
