ローソン ひとくちサラダチキン ハーブ

糖質オフのために食事としてサラダチキンを食べる人がいるというのは知っていましたが、私はこれまで食べたことがありませんでした。だいたいどんなものかは想像できますが、柔らかく調理されているとはいえ鶏むね肉なのでパサパサしていて味気ないものをイメージしてしまっていたのかもしれません。しかし先日ローソンで朝食を買おうとした時に、何種類もの味付けのサラダチキンが並んでいるのを初めて知ったので、試しにひとくちサラダチキン ハーブというものを買ってみたところ、これが予想以上に美味しくできていて、これなら自分も食事にしてもいいかも、と思ったのでした。

実はこの製品は紹介ページに「鶏モモ肉を使用することで、ジューシーに仕上げました。ひとくちサイズで、食べやすくなっています。」とある通りもも肉を使用しているので結構脂分があって、イメージしていたヘルシーさはあまり感じられなかったのです。ハーブソルトの味付けもしっかりしていて、もも肉の旨味もあるので、おかずとしても悪くないのではないかと思います。またこの商品は唐揚げのようにカットされているので、手早く食べたい時にも食べやすいのではないでしょうか。

私がつい最近知っただけなので今さらレビューするような商品ではないのでしょうが、サラダチキンも少なくとも数年前までは今ほどのバリエーションはなかったのではないでしょうか。日本のコンビニの商品開発には驚かされるものがあり、海外からの観光客がコンビニでの買い物を楽しんでいるというのもわかるような気がします。
