Last weekend I played a couple of sessions of Living Arcanis #TTRPG — a game with a heavy dose of Roman flavour — at #Contingency2025

On Thursday I was working on some code with sample data (entered by someone else) made up of Roman names.

That night I saw Pirates of Penzance at the London Coliseum.

At that point I gave in and finally settled down to watch HBO’s Rome.

Now I have a note pad with the outline of an scenario for Acanis written out. Ooops.

Time to get to wrok revising "Tithe Barn", the #DeadOfNightRPG scenario I ran at #Contingency2025
Also time to start work on "Trilogy", a new scenario set in three different decades.
Also a revised version of #ForetoldInItsShadow with new second act prompts.

12th and final game of #Contingency2025 was Wizards Aren't Gentlemen, which became almost a Monty Python level parody of wizardly infighting. #ttrpg

7th #Contingency2025 game was Foretold: From Earth, in which we were caught in a timeloop, sending ourselves the message that brought us there. #ttrpg

5th game at ##Contingency2025 was Dead of Night: Tithe Barn, which ended with a mischievous sacrifice to save a family. #ttrpg

4th game of ##Contingency2025 was Foretold: Mile's End which started and ended with 4 PCs but not necessarily the same 4. #tttpg

3rd game of #Contingency2025 was Gentle & Extraordinary, in which the PCs summoned an angel to spoil the Prime Minister's Thames regatta. #ttrpg

2nd game of #Contingency2025 and I ran my Monster hearts Gothic hack, which ended with a teacher burnt to ash in a fireplace. #ttrpg

Day 1 of #Contingency2025 : arrived with Dave & Lori, lots of hugging of old friends, some under the table trading for game sign-ups. Psst, hey kid, you look cool; wanna try some #PbtA ? #ttrpg

As part of my con prep for #Contingency2025 I've written a new scenario for #DeadofNight which I've realised could be doubled, as there are a full set of NPCs who could also be PCs. Maybe I'll look into some kind of mini-larp version of it for the future. #ttrpg
