    I guess that should teach me not to rely blindly on the specimen identifications of more senior botanists.

After Frank Zich of the Australian Tropical Herbarium identified it as Erigeron bellioides, it turned out that while it was already on the Queensland Plant Census, it wasn't on the Australian national one.
