Today in the greenhouse...
Lophophora williamsii, known as peyote, native to southern North America, particularly the Chihuahuan Desert. So unusual for three flowers to appear at once and this is the smallest of my peyote plants. The flowers will probably be followed by pink seedpods and black seeds, though I've never tried growing this species from seed.

Agave pumila
This is I believe the smallest agave. It's very slow growing, and in my experience is quick to drop leaves or go lopsided. It happens to be quite nicely proportioned at the moment.

多肉パトロールだん。遮光が足りていないのか、日焼けしてすっかり『夏顔』です。っていうか焼けすぎてるかな、ちょっと心配。夏に入ってから全体的に水やりを止めて根を休ませているんだけど、少しお水が欲しそうな子もいる。コレという正解はない。一つ一つの顔を見ながら、お水が欲しいのかまだ休んでいたいのかお話しするしかありません。
多肉の夏は本当に難しい。
とりあえず今夜は台風が近づいているので、泊まり込みで多肉ちゃんたちと過ごします。 -
