@Truck when the Netherlands still had its own currency, we had a 100 #Gulden (about 45 Euro at the time of conversion) #banknote which depicted the #Watersnip (#CommonSnipe) quite prominently: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/note205993.html
So, even though I didn't handle this note very often myself, it's still a very recognisable sight from my childhood. :)
