For any fellow #Cocoatech #PathFinder users: the bugs are reported were that the setting to open new browser Windows to a specific path currently only applies to new tabs. New windows open the last viewed location. That’s the bug that’s already being worked on. The second is after enabling the toggle to use full width color backgrounds instead of colored dots for labels, the setting only applies to browser window view, not items on the desktop.

Serious kudos to the #Cocoatech #PathFinder support team. Reported 2 big, but not showstopper, bugs with the new version 26 release. Support rep clearly responded one of the bugs was already known and should be corrected very soon. The other was acknowledged as a bug not yet reported and that it would be submitted for resolution. I’m impressed the rep actually acknowledged it as something that should be improved.

I really love #CocoaTech #PathFinder, and the new v26 release seems to have some nice refinements.

I’m annoyed, however, of at least two blatant oversights.

They’re favoring the Finder style of just a dot for a label instead of full width color. There’s a toggle to change back to full width but the setting does not affect items on the Desktop.

The setting for what path is shown when a new browser window is opened now instead acts on a new tab. New windows open at last location. DO NOT WANT!!!
