My year 1 #primaryschool #classphoto from 1965.
The school told my parents I should be 6, but they were determined I start my schooling at 5 years of age & my father wore his police uniform - so… all through my schooling I was the youngest in my class.
34 pupils in my class, which was the norm until #highschool when class sizes dropped to mid 20’s.
