    I wake with the alarm and drink my coffee in a mild stupor, then assemble myself and head out to the roadside, arriving at 7:30 and setting up. Craige is still out, though I hope he'll be back for tomorrow's vigil. Today's hand-held message is CHANGE OUR CONVERSATION / CHANGE OUR CONSUMPTION / CHANGE OUR POLITICS. Cool, cloudy, with the promise of rain later on.

    It's a grey morning as I wake a few minutes before the alarm, sip my coffee in the kitchen, and head out to vigil, arriving at Roosevelt Circle at 7:31 and setting up. Craige isn't here today, so I'm a soloist. My hand-held message du jour is SCIENTIFIC IGNORANCE IS A POOR FOUNDATION FOR PUBLIC POLICY. Which statement shouldn't be, but apparently is, controversial.
