Found myself speaking with the parent of a small child I was amusing* at a restaurant:

"Are you an actor?"
"Nope."
"A comedian?"
"Not exactly. Why do you ask?"
"Well, you're very animated..."

Field trip today!

Some of my performing partners and I are visiting an elephant sanctuary. As most of these beautiful old beasts are retired circus performers, I suspect we'll have lots to talk about.
