Sometimes a #cigar is just a cigar - but thats an #absoluteunit.

If I've read it correctly they sell 1000 cigars for 100 Mark, so relatively cheap individually for a decent size cigar

Maybe thats why my older versions of Handbuch für Fernmeldehandwerker have a safety warning "never bring a lit Cigar into the battery room" [1] as they would have been affordable even to apprentices.

Cigars are bad for you, try not to smoke them (I quit in 2018, and they were already way expensive here)

[1] lead acid accumulators give off hydrogen gas when charging and there are a *lot* of them in a Telephone Exchange, so such a mistake could easily end up as a last smoke.. 💥 🚒

#Bibendum wearing the uniform of an early 20th century #teacher (and smoking a #cigar in class!) from "Haandbog for Automobilister" (handbook for motorists) downloaded from "Danmarks Tekniske Kulturarv", a book all about #car #tyres and how to maintain them (in those days they were thinner and not a great deal larger than bicycle tyres, so it was not impossible for a motorist to replace their own (they also still contained tubes which had to be repaired in the same way as bicycle tyres).

I don't think the prof is allowed to smoke any more during lessons in Denmark, but this ban may only have been introduced comparatively recently!

Ash Shells: a must have for smoking in style. Brutalist ashtray with 2 small slots for cigarettes and cigarillos. And a big slot for cigars.
The concrete has an aggregate of crushed white shells, fine and coarse sands. By sanding the concrete the aggregate is visible resulting in a terrazzo finish.
