A super-secret National Intelligence Service agent goes undercover as a top star's bodyguard. Unfortunately, the star's protective manager often gets in the way of his mission to discover the truth about a possible national threat within a conglomerate.

A fairly light, cliche thriller with some unforeseen twists, lots of action, & a great bromance. Throw in some comedy & some romance and it's an enjoyable watch. Park Hae Jin played the perfect spy, & did well with the comedy. There wasn't much chemistry between the leads. Their story needed more development (& maybe a different hairstyle for her), but it was decent. The 2nd ML did great with his part & his character development. His relationship with the NIS agent made the show.

Suits (2018 Korean version based on US series).

I was stringing this one out because I didn’t want it to end, but Tubi (free with ads) informed me that it expires in a few days, so I had to finish the last few episodes.

I watched the US version years ago, so I can’t comment on how the shows relate. In the Korean version, Park Hyung-sik brings so much depth to the character. He isn’t just a hot-shot know it all. He portrays the depth of the burdens and trauma the character carries, as well as the uncertainty of youth and inexperience. He was nominated for a few best actor awards for this role.

The other actors are also very, very good. Jang Dong-gun portrays his character so well that I was hating him and loving him at the same time.

I’m glad I got to see it before it “expired”.
