The Moon is conjunct Ixion in Capricorn. In mythology, Ixion was punished for his desirous nature. He raped the thought form (Nephele) of Hera, Queen of Heaven, who gave birth to the unruly Centaurs. In Capricorn, with the head of the Ram usually taking the lead, Capricorn Ixion turns tail to swim away from danger. Coming into conjunction with Centaur Pholus, the moon takes on an unusual character, not much like the usual sensitive, law-abiding ways of Cancer-Capricorn. Perhaps using the law to one’s advantage.

Vesta and Pallas hold hands, connecting to their sisters, the rich, loving Venus and the Black Moon Lilith. For Saint Louis, Missouri (and other neighboring locations), the Cancer Full Moon is square the Midheaven. When life is hard, you have to change. Coming upon the exact Uranus conjunction, Mars first meets Sedna. Her father tossed his own daughters overboard to save himself. Out of the sea, her blessings rise.

The beginning of the Mercury Retrograde in Cancer: Mercury is stationed on top of Hygiea! Welcome, preventative health talk! But also tension with Eris! The sister of Mars has decommissioning strength! Jupiter strikes Chiron in a low blow. All this is happening while Mars enters Gemini and “bends” the nodes. Aggression and anger are a fuel for action. In Gemini, take a breath, it will be actions in ideas, words, and written articles. Perhaps a new amendment that puts the people back into power; People over Corporations! With the emphasis on the waning, perhaps the overturning of Citizens United as a start. Jupiter, king of heaven, is at the exact 30th degree of Cancer: A DAUGHTER OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION.

Celebrate the Moon and Sun in the sign of the Moon! It is time to release the old as the moon wanes. I hope to pull all the hemlock out of my garden.  As Mercury reverses, we will revisit the past. I plan to work on Babes in Starland, an anthology; Universal Laws cover art, a book in the works by Bill Duvendack; and perhaps read and review Equilibrium by Rosario Aurelius.

With Chiron in Taurus, I will continue to celebrate the body and practice my bodywork. Currently doing yoga at Anandamaya Sound + Movement with Ravi (a Taurus), I love the space! I am planning a course, along with my class on astrology for beginners, the Path of Awakening (the journey to Kundalini Rising from beginning through the aftermath). From June 24-25, 2026: A powerfully active time! The Scorpio Moon first opposed Chiron in its recent entry into Taurus. Squares Pluto. Opposes Ceres in Taurus. Squares Venus in Leo. Then the Scorpio moon opposes Mars (soon to be conjunct Uranus). Trine Mercury (slowing to station) and trine Jupiter at the anaretic degree between Cancer and Leo! That was only the moon making aspects to everything!

And the upcoming Mars-Uranus conjunction in Gemini. Uranus is full of surprises, and Mars is the god of war, but also passion and drive! Gemini gives it an extra touch of community and Mercurialness! And it’s interesting that our president is a Gemini, so this may be explosive communications, especially during a Mercury retrograde on Independence Day. It is our 250th anniversary!!! Could be aliens ;D Could be Epstein? Maybe a powerful and unexpected speech.

The first is last and the last is first, since yesterday. I made lemon poppyseed blueberry muffins using the ingredients I need to use and some new ingredient (Organic Einkorn Berries). The moon is in Sagittarius now. They did not rise as well as they will in an air sign. 😉
