A brief shopping discussion by @monicarooney and @CAWguy inspired today's post about a beloved Canadian brand. Canadian Tire Corporation, or #CanTire to the masses, was founded in Toronto by brothers J.W. and A.J. Billes, when they bought the Hamilton Tire and Garage in 1922. The name was changed in 1927, and they added their first franchise dealer in 1934. CanTire money was introduced in 1958. -
