CW: Can’t Be Left Behind mini-review
Just finished Can’t Be Left Behind! I feel like it’s a story of two people whose immense cumulative damage (some of it inflicted by each other over the course of the plot) has made them temporarily perfect for one another. Will they last? Maybe so, given how much and how deliberately they’re working on it! If not, the blast radius is going to be COLOSSAL.
I want to read Jiang Xue’s (the girl who sits in front of Duan Yan in class, RuiYan’s biggest cheerleader) take on the whole thing about ten years down the line. 😋
