The Stone Sky by N.K Jemisin
The final few chapters are excellent, however the build up to it, is pretty lacklustre. The issue was the introduction of the third narrative, which meant that the other two were stuck in limbo,with no character development. The weakest of the trilogy.

Vanavond begin ik aan #TheStoneSky van #NKJemisin en ik kijk er al naar uit. Deel 3 in de #BrokenEarthTrilogy en de eerste 2 delen waren al fantastisch. Ik ben pas heel laat #fantasy beginnen lezen, waarom weet ik niet zo goed. Hoe dan ook: deze reeks kende ik niet, nooit eerder van gehoord. Het is heel erg aan te raden. Fantastische vertelstijl, #worldbuiding avant la lettre, ongemeen boeiend en met een diepgang die ik in dit genre nooit had gedacht te vinden.
