I do need to improve my bike lighting situation though.
it has an antiquated dynamo system which isn't working, might just be a bulb out or a loose connection, gotta check all that. but I think I'm gonna get a cheap 18650 flashlight and a mount to quickly slap it on the front bar for a headlight.
already wear a blinky on my backpack for the rear, and have a single-AA flood on the front bar and a single medium-throw AA light affixed to my helmet by DIY mount of string and duct tape :P
that's ... not quite enough even for a semi-well-lit city (with moderately shitty roads), plus the battery life of the two front-facing lights on high is probably not more than 90 minutes max.
if I restore the dynamo setup I may be able to add a rectifier and retrofit it for LED bulbs... it's fucking incandescent! #BrokeAss #BikeTooter
