Completed my biggest #Lego set so far. #Bricklink 910053 Thieves or Tortuga.
And while I like its final looks, I have to say the building experience was something else.
It is my second Bricklink Designer Program set and unlike Ominous Isle the construction is somewhat uninspired.
The design of the palm trees is nice and the hidden skeleton behind bars are nice, but other than that I would say I learned no new building techniques from it and that's really disappointing to me. -
The 5 selected sets for #bricklinkdesignerprogram series 8 really contain some gems. The castle will certainly sell, since people love castles, but for me the balloon is the most tempting set.
