Der modulare Bahnhof von #BlueBrixx ist seit gestern draußen. Mein Herz lacht, Konto weint angesichts des drohenden Budget-Lochs für andere Dinge. (Aber wir wissen halt alle, dass Investitionen ins Öffi-Netz absolute Priorität haben müssen 🤷😂)

Aside from doing some minor code cleanup and bugfixing on a personal project today, I also found the time to test my new 850 mAh S2 LiPo with the two-motor powered BR 101 locomotive.
The first two waggons (the long ones) are quite heavy but the two motors pull the train at an acceptable max. speed.
The LiPo and the LiPo "beeper" (battery charge monitor) nicely fit into the 6W loco as well.

Mein #RailJet aus #Klemmbausteine|n von #BlueBrixx ist mittlerweile fast 2 Meter lang (194cm).
Ich sollte mir wirklich mal überlegen welche Lösung ich zum Betreiben der Züge verwenden will und ihn mal durch die Wohnung fahren lassen.. Aber das sind halt sehr schnell wieder ein paar hundert Euro, bei der Menge an Zügen die ich mittlerweile habe 🙈

Das Jahr neigt sich dem Ende und im Bereich #klemmbausteine hab ich mein Highlight des Jahres 25 - den Seenotrettungskreuzer Hermann Marwede - von #BlueBrixx . Ist der Wahnsinn aber für Erwachsene, nicht ganz so leicht zu bauen aber der Hammer wenn fertig. (Nicht wundern das un der Mitte das Schiff nicht geschlossen ist, ich habe es getrennt aufgestellt. Der "moderne Bahnsteig" von #BlueBrixx, der laut Beschreibung "perfekt für 6w und 8w Züge" ist, ist natürlich *nicht* mit deren 8w-Güterwagons kompatibel 🙈
Ja, ich weiß, dass Güterzüge nicht an normalen Bahnsteigen halten, aber ich hätte mir schon erwartet, dass zumindest Vorbeifahren problemlos möglich sein sollte...

I almost forgot this year's completed #WinterVillage. I decided on a ski resort theme, mostly because of the 3 big structures (#Pantasy (left) and #Lumibricks (2 on the right)). Filled the empty space with 2 #Lego sets (which are a good deal underwhelming compared to the rest).

Von #BlueBrixx die BR01 mit 1341 Teilen (ohne Motoren), es ist kein leichter Bau, das Ergebnis dann um so schöner. Die Lok alleine sieht schon gut aus aber mit dem Tender macht sie erst recht was her. Sie kann Motorisiert werden soll aber Probleme bei engen Kurven haben. Als Displaymodell macht sie eine gute Figur.

I started building this year's #WinterVillage and began with something very #NotLego, Fun Whole's "Ski Lodge". It's a tad bigger than I thought (as I ignored the size info when I bought it).

I just found this blog post about how to make #music using #pwm on #lego #powerfunctions #motors. not that I want to, but there is quite some technical information in there.
Gets me thinking about building a simple #train motor Forth library. To run on a microcontroller inside your #locomotive to which you connect via wifi ... hmmm ... @f4grx what do you think?!
