I love it when I get a #LEGO order from #BrickLink in the post. This time I wonder if the seller was curious what I'm intending to build with 100 white 1x4 blocks, 3 horse saddles and a shark.

hmm yeah I figured out a better small harp design. (Though I cheated, as I overlapped two of the "string" bricks to achieve an odd length.)

I'm in the process of building all of these physically.
Where possible, I will be dropping instructions, but some of these are paid builds off #Rebrickable, some are from #youtube, #reddit and #bricklink... and other places.

I have always wanted the Robin Brickheadz to go with my Batman. They look great together in the Batmobile. Robin has a retired so I made it via Rebrickable and Bricklink. Cost about £25. Very happy with that.

Es wird bei #rebrickable der Durchschnitt von allen Teilen. Die zu Verkauf stehen genommen, oft bekommt ihr die Teile bei #bricklink günstiger.

Aber Rebrickable ist richtig cool und man kann natürlich Teile-Listen zu BeickLink exportieren.

If you're a particular kind of nerd like me, the Bricklink Designer Program Series 7 opens for preorders in about half an hour. One week to preorder, but no actual payment for a few months.

I'm going to grab the Alchemist's Shop and Antique Collection, and probably W.A.L.T. The Sushi Restaurant and Privateer Frigate Fortuna are both beautiful, but I'm focused on a "D&D buffet"/vaguely fantasy medieval-ish style of theme right now.

Completed my biggest #Lego set so far. #Bricklink 910053 Thieves or Tortuga.
And while I like its final looks, I have to say the building experience was something else.
It is my second Bricklink Designer Program set and unlike Ominous Isle the construction is somewhat uninspired.
The design of the palm trees is nice and the hidden skeleton behind bars are nice, but other than that I would say I learned no new building techniques from it and that's really disappointing to me.

I love the Stud.io app, it lets you build virtual #LEGO sets with every brick available in any color. When you're satisfied with your model you export an instruction guide and a parts list you can use to order the needed bricks on #BrickLink. I'm currently building my future #SuzukiIgnis car which I'll combine with a camper trailer. Both things will happen in reality soonish, but will be more expensive than the #LEGO set. 😆 https://stud.io Please notice the pun. the nobs = Studs 😉

Step 177 of 536. Another missing piece, but easy to fix later so I don't have to wait this time. Backside of the head/torso is almost complete. This thing is heavy!

Update on my #NotLego adventure!

Step 98 of 526. Yes I'm taking my time :) There were a few missing pieces. Same type, so obviously a packing error. No big issue, could buy those for only a couple of cents from #Bricklink. I'm not surprised given the piece-count and low price of the set. Errors happen. Still hope that those were the only missing pieces. Stay tuned!

I did not buy a train.

I'm rather proud of myself.

(Confession: I don't really like either of the Lego city train options currently on sale, so I'm going to trawl the second hard market and use Pick a Brick and #Bricklink to build my own custom set.)
