What they fail to acknowledge is that the protests are not against #India, but against an #AntiDemocratic #AntiSecular #AntiConstitutional India that the current government is trying to build. What purpose does an NRC serve if even after being a citizen by all tests, you still can't live where you want because you are Muslim or Dalit, are a single working person who has a social life, are going to be called chinky and attacked by North Indians, or be thrown out of Gujarat and Maharashtra for being a North Indian ??

There are some replies saying that Christians, dalits, etc should not #BoycottNRC only uppercaste/class Hindus should.
DISAGREE. Muslims are the target. Don't add random victims. The MORE of us boycott, the better they are protected.
And when they come after dalits and christians, we will expect Muslims too to stand by them.
Don't let go of your power to take a stand and claim victimhood. That is what BJP wants - all in their silos, scared to stick their necks out.You CAN be someone's shield.

NRC is fundamentally and constitutionally wrong and should be protested against. Amit Shah is repeatedly and blatantly proclaiming citizenship on the basis of religion discriminating against one single community. constitution of India prohibits this clearly.

When the initial application of NRC took place in Assam, we were part of a huge mistake. It should have been boycotted.
My name was there is all drafts of the NRC. Its never about me. The NRC is a farce. Its fundamentally wrong.
There are a lot of people who cannot produce those ridiculous documents, specially the poor and the uneducated.
Please do all that you can to create the awareness to #BoycottNRC nationwide.
