So much for last week’s project: the setters took it down before I could try it again properly. But today’s session felt more steady and balanced. I’m starting to accept that after some time away from climbing it’s just going to take a while to rebuild my skills. A bit humbling (“you’re telling me I was climbing problems like that?!” my silly brain keeps yelling). But this is where I’m at right now and I’m just happy to be doing it. #bouldering #climbing

Uwielbiam oglądać zawody w boulderingu. To jest jak świetny serial, możesz sprawdzać losy bohaterek na każdych zawodach pucharu. Patrzeć, jak się rozwijają, w danym sezonie i między sezonami.
Ekscytujące!
Dzisiaj nadrabiam Innsbruck, półfinały. Futaba Ito właśnie sflashowała czwórkę, a Mao Nakamura przed chwilą jako pierwsza rozwiązała pierwszy bald. Bardzo kibicuję Japonkom, między innymi.
Zawody można oglądać na HBO, gdyby ktoś z Was chciał się wkręcić.

1. I've slept quite well.
2. We went to #bouldering hall and had a lot of fun. (I wanted more, but heard my body being tired and warning with the first pain signals to stop for now.)
3. We had homemade #pokebowl with kimchi, salmon, chilli mayo, mango, cucumber and sushi rice. Yum!

#Climbing bubble, any suggestions for shoes that are less keen on deforming my toes than Solutions? Probably something softer too. The use case is indoor #bouldering.

Finally got to B-Pump in Tokyo. It's bigger than anything in Australia, but I gotta say, the bouldering gyms in Melbourne beat it in lots of ways. Spoogy holds, OK but not brilliant setting, and the facilities were pretty poor. My gym in Melbourne has a sauna, weights gym, and three types of water on tap, at B-Pump there aren't even showers and you have to buy water from a vending machine.

How far away is the first 9b boulder?
In 2016, Nalle established the world's first 9a/ V17. Now, 10 years later, Elias has proposed the first 9a+/ V18.
If future repeat ascents confirm the grade, the historical trend of the world's hardest boulder problems suggests the first 9b could arrive in roughly 12–15 years.
