Many of us know about the highly touted 1972 championship when #BobbyFischer defeated #BorisSpassky and the #Soviet chess machine. The 1978 match was even crazier and the chess just as brilliant. This time, though, the #USSR and #KGB retained the title (well... it was Karpov who won). However, the end of a great era was finally closing.
