A late #BookLog for July, but it's here at last! July was such a good creative month for me. I read a lot of books I enjoyed, listened to an unreal number of podcast episodes, and finished several TV shows. I still feel fulfilled from it all.

📚 The Land and Its People by David Sedaris
I just finished reading The Land and Its People by David Sedaris
Rachelle and I did a lot of driving yesterday as I was taking the grandson back. I normally don't reach for this type of book but it was great. I really enjoyed it.

📖 Book Log #3
📚 A Short History of Nearly Everything
✍️ Bill Bryson
💭 Book I have read 5-6 years ago. An amazing book that teaches you the history of the universe, nature, civilization, life, science, planet earth, the humans. Very humbling book that puts the oddity of life very evident. And how lucky we are to be alive here in this universe, this planet, this body and in this timeframe.

📖 Book Log #2
📚 The 48 Laws of Power
✍️ Robert Greene
💭 Book I have read 4 years ago. Big fan of the author. He studied history, historical biographies and puts in this book some patterns he found among powerful people in history to gain and maintain power. Similar to The Prince by Machiavelli. Teaches you Machiavellian thinking or how machiavellian people think. Good read for people into history, biographies and power dynamics.
