#BlackTwitterAPeoplesHistory, an #Onyx production based on a @[email protected] article, is a three part #TVSeries on #Hulu that covers the undeniable impact that Black people had on #Twitter's growth, popularity, and impact from the platform's early days through #ElonMusk's buying of the platform.
It's uneven and jumbles its own timeline, but ultimately does a good job of explaining that moment in history.
#BlackMastodon isn't likely to replace that, but something soon will, probably.

Hulu’s “Black Twitter: A People's History” was a fun reminder of how much I miss the old Twitter. That anarchic comic energy is desperately needed here on Mastodon, and I’m heartbroken that this community didn’t arrive because it didn’t feel welcome.
