#Les3BonheursDuJour d'un samedi de travail (enfin terminé). 🌤️

• Au petit matin, zigzaguer en BIXI dans les rues désertes, pour éviter les nids-de-poule  ;
• En rentrant, croiser pour la première fois un charmant petit papillon noir à pois blancs, posé sur mon balcon. Je crois qu'il s'agit du botys à huit taches (Anania funebris ssp. glomeralis. J'ai trouvé la photo sur Wikimédia.) ;
• Me désaltérer en dégustant le thé glacé au citron, fait par mon colocataire. 😋

After many years of complaining, I am happy to see a change. But why are they treating this like a promotional exercise and not trying to make rebalancing the network a thing people do?

• La gentillesse du service chez Fous Desserts, sur Laurier (qui s'ajoute à l'excellent café et aux viennoiseries délectables).

Je crois qu'il y a eu un problèmes avec les compteurs ou les données, car le nombre de passages captés est extrêment faible comparativement à l'utilisation de #Biximtl #velomtl #polmtl #montreal #bixi

I used to have a e-scooter because it was easier to transport up 4 flights of stairs to my apartment. I'd prefer a bike but I really wanted to avoid leaving it in the street overnight for fear of it getting stolen.

Well joke's on me because my e-scooter got absolutely destroyed in broad daylight on a busy street while I was having coffee with a friend.

Now I'm walking, using public transport or our local bike share

I could go through back channels, but I shouldn't have to for simple media enquiries like this. The ball was dropped by their communications team, but I think there are a number of issues with the way bixi operates that should be part of public discourse.

Seems the snow clearing contractor doing #Montreal #Bixi isn’t clearing behind the racks so the bikes get pushed up and don’t dock properly.

Has anyone else had issues docking/undocking #Montreal #Bixi bikes in winter? I don’t think the mechanisms work well when they get snow in them.
I’m OK with the system taking a few years to figure out a solution but the bastards sent me a $50 charge for not returning a bike that got jammed. By the time they came by, I assume the snow or frozen component had melted.
