La grande chanteuse Rousserolle turdoïde est un petit oiseau reconnaissable à son plumage brun clair et son sourcil crème, vivant principalement dans les roselières de l'Espagne à la Chine et de l'Afrique du Sud.

The cardinal was back again today! Very good conditions gave me some amazing opportunities to show off his gorgeous details. After about 40 minutes of playing with his reflection, his mate came and picked him up and took him off to better and more important things. AT LAST! I've found time to do some #painting!
I've drafted a composition of some of the #birds we met in #Tennessee last month while walking in the woods. To start, here's a red-bellied #woodpecker and a #bluejay - we saw loads of both.I'm using my husb's photos as reference.

The Ring-Neck Pheasant can be difficult to hunt because pheasants as a whole are known to have excellent eyesight as well as great hearing. They are able to detect predators and get away from them by running between 8 and 10 miles per hour or flying up to 35 miles per hour. Yet, this beautiful guy wakes me up early mornings with his loud calls! He has no fear of this human!
