Because of how pervasive it is being used I’ve given up on not using software that had LLMs used in the making of it. I mean I run Linux and the kernel has LLM generated code. It reminds me of back in my youth when I tried to be as “Made in the USA” as possible but had to give that up as globalization made that line impossible to not cross. So just like when that “Made in the USA” bit flipped it is looking at code quality and how the project is run, which is what I tried to do generally anyway. I still hate that we have allowed the Silicon Valley billionaires to create yet another environmentally and culturally destructive system that everyone is forced to interact with and simultaneously further consolidates their hold on excessive global power and money. #ai #BillionairesShouldNotExist #BigTechShouldNotExist #rant
