So #WashCo is planning to make the walker #stroad even stroadier.

At least they're honest about how they plan to put the most vulnerable road users next to the heaviest equipment.

  6. There's something about the #Beaverton website that has disagreed with every Pixel phone I've owned.

It's like I cannot scroll down on their main page. Even the gentlest dragging motion opens whatever it is I've touched. Feels weird. I don't have this trouble with anything else.

  16. What a super-fun day I had. Volunteering at Pride in the Park in was so rewarding. It felt good knowing it was one small way I could contribute to the fight against bigotry. My role was helping performers.

I’m gonna summarize it into 3 good things:

    1. My new friend, Poison Waters (a Portland drag-queen hero). She was funny and clever and had lots of great things to say. What a gift she is to the world. She had me laughing so many times. And her MC skills were on point.

    2. Cuddles stood out among the array of cute pups on display. Her owners were two gay men who were identically dressed from head-to-toe (also cute). They clearly loved her and loved showing her off. And her temperament was a testament to this.

    3. Getting to be Saint Syndrome’s personal stage hand. She was nervous and alone. I was happy that I got to help calm her nerves with my service.

    Y’all. Volunteer. It’s rad.

  21. Portland area friends. Tomorrow, Sunday the 28th, Beaverton is hosting Pride in the Park. They throw one heck of an event, so you should drop by and hang with us.

I’ll be there in a bright vest, helping entertainers on the stage. Feel free to say hello.

Also, there WILL be bigoted protesters. They’re there every year. I’m not suggesting anyone does anything about that. I’m also not suggesting anyone doesn’t. 😉

The Lodge upgraded its HVAC last year, AC for the win, but I don't know the filter specs. We will have KN95 masks available and be running 3 HEPA air purifiers in the room with fresh filters in all. Of course in consideration of others please don't attend if you are ill.
