I’ve been saving the #Bartesian Peary Christmas because I love the flavor of pears. Christmas Eve seemed the perfect opportunity to enjoy this #cocktail and I am not disappointed

Some Bartesian drinks can be a bit too cloying, but the hint of almond in this one offers just the right amount sweet to go with the tequila and spices. Peary Christmas is on the nice list, for sure

Not normally a fan of vodka drinks, but the #Bartesian Winter White Cosmo goes down easy

One of the things I’ve been looking for in these #cocktails is if the identified flavors are balanced. But for this one, the flavors are perfectly melded. I’m not getting the individual cranberry, lime and elderflower, I’m getting crimeflower (™️ - trademarking that one)

My favorite #drink to order back when we could go out was sangria - nothing like the outdoor patio at a taco restaurant sipping a sweet, fruity red wine sangria in the San Diego sun. I miss it.

Finally cracked open the #Bartesian 12 days of Christmas calendar last night and our surprise was the first rum #cocktail of the season, Yuletide Hurricane

This was one of the first drinks we got with the system last year and it’s a favorite because it’s not too sweet and the edible glitter makes it extra festive. Pairs really well with our Brazilian rum, too

I went into this Bee Merry without reading the #Bartesian description, so I knew I was getting an unusual spice but I had to look to find out it was thyme

This tequila #cocktail is so well balanced! I’m tasting the thyme, the cranberry and the honey, hitting in that order but all in the perfect proportions. It’s different, absolutely delicious, and one of my favorites of the season so far

Super excited about tonight’s #Bartesian #cocktail, Ginger Pear Noel, because I love, love, love ginger beer. And I get the ginger notes! Maybe not as fiery as advertised; I’m not big on hot spicy anyway

But… not getting the pear. You know how banana flavoring is based on a completely different type of banana than is grown now? Wondering if there’s a similar thing when it comes to pear flavor

Still, enjoying it. It’s probably 3½ lit Christmas trees, but we’ll go 4

We opened a present early! I got a new drink tumbler. I’m really enjoying this extended version of the Xmas 🤶🏻

What I’m not enjoying is tonight’s random #Bartesian #cocktail, the Holiday Hibiscus Sour

Supposedly hibiscus, lime and mint but I’m not really getting those smells; all those flavors are muddled, too. It does have the same cool feeling as a breath mint, which is weird? But the more I drink the more that refresh feeling comes thru, so 🤷‍♀️

The #Bartesian packaging says juicy and jammy and that’s spot on. It’s the perfect San Diego holiday #cocktail, meant to be sipped under a palm tree with a trunk wrapped in a string of twinkling lights

Another whisky #cocktail from #Bartesian tonight, the Holiday Spiced Old Fashioned

Literally smelled like a cinnamon roll, what’s not to love? But the bitters again overwhelmed the taste. Not as much as Frosty’s Banana Foster, but still so strong (does someone at Bartesian own bitters futures or something?)

I’m not doing this as a secret ad, BTW. Immunocompromised family means going to bars is off the table and Bartesian gives me the fun of trying #drinks again

Again, the smell is half the fun, and it does smell cozy. But the taste doesn’t linger, it’s crisp instead. There’s apples, oranges, brown sugar and spices, all well balanced. I usually mix these light, but I think I’ll do regular for my next one - feels like a holiday drink that would work even better with more whiskey

Again, the smell is half the fun, and it does smell cozy. But the taste doesn’t linger, it’s crisp instead. There’s apples, oranges, brown sugar and spices, all well balanced. I usually mix these light, but I think I’ll do regular for my next one - feels like a holiday drink that would work even better with more whiskey

Dismissed an online review complaining how strong the spice taste was, but that person was _not_ wrong! It’s the bitters. Heavily, heavily bittered. You can smell the banana but not taste it because of the bitters. So I went ahead and cut this one with ginger beer and it’s much more mellow now
