  1. After his 90's hit critique of 'the Californian Ideology' Richard Barbrook followed up with another provocation:

    Why not replace "Stalinist bureaucracy with bottom-up decision-making by producers and consumers....... By reshaping the Net in our own interests, both the authoritarian state and the oligarchic marketplace can be superseded by a massive multi-player participatory democracy."

    Feasible now, with today's compute power?
