Balboa Park B and W

One of my favorite places in San Diego besides the beaches, and Old Town, is Balboa Park.
This image was captured early in the morning mid summer. I walked the streets and sidewalks around the different museums. I was so excited when I saw this beautiful arch with the repeating patterns almost as far as the eye can see.

Museum of Man

I went down to Balboa Park and found a photographers Paradise. The buildings are magnificent and the architecture is out of this world beautiful.
This building was built for the 1915 Panama-American Exposition and is truly an impressive structure.
I had explored most of the park and then saw this beautiful structure looming up framed by the palm trees.

Balboa Park Arches

Balboa Park is just minutes from down town San Diego and well worth the few minutes it takes to get there.
I've always known it for the famed San Diego Zoo with their Panda Bears but until this last spring I had never taken the time to walk around the park at all.
So one morning last May I decided to take a walk down at Balboa Park.

Balboa Park Walkway

I recently spent a quite early morning exploring the architecture of Balboa Park in San Diego California.
I have always looked for symmetry in my images when possible and love repeating patterns so it turns out that this walkway off to the side of the Theatre Del Prado was exactly what I was looking for. Captured early to avoid the morning crowds.
