Who designed this shit? And why weren't they equipped with a baseball bat to hit the regulation people over the head.
I know very well about the constraints in complicated and heavily regulated systems and processes, but seriously, this is a crime against human-centred design.

The TV remote in the place I'm renting in Iceland is recharged by solar, which is good, the problem is the solar panel is on the back of the remote, so you have to leave the remote face down to charge.

Got a Kindle Scribe to compare to my Remarkable2, and there are many things to like but …
I guess nobody on their team was left handed? Or does UX testing? Writing near the top of the page activates the “touch in the upper left corner” menu. Kind of a show stopper. There is no “left handed mode” to move that menu to the right.
Edit: it’s not right/left: the whole damn top edge is a button. Completely idiotic.
