All the trees for #badtreeThursday I've seen so far have been pretty good so to try and balance things I offer this..... made in sketch for android which has a 'leaves' brush

A favorite neighborhood tree sketched for #BadTreeThursday. I think it's a cork oak. I sketched it using Derwent drawing pencils and the Derwent line and wash pan set.

Another piece of art therapy that I held back because I was ashamed to share and despite how simplistic it is, it’s revealing. You know, if I bothered telling you what it’s about.

I’m occasionally haunted by an episode of House where a kid was drawing all these creepy pictures, but it turned out he had tiny worms in his eyes. He was just drawing what he saw.

I happened to draw this tree earlier as a quick background to a picture of my city of heroes character Roseshard.

These are a great excuse to keep practising drawing with my non-dominant hand.

I need to figure out what I want the environments of this game project to look so figured I could try to draw a forest road for it.
I just can't decide whether I want to go 100% isometric for the environments or switch it up here and there.

The characters are older WIP assets while the BG is left-handed for the prompt. 🤭

I've heard it's #BadTreeThursday - I drew some bad trees only the other day. I have a lot of markers that I never use as I prefer watercolour and digital so I'm trying to get into the habit of just sketching with them.
