  1. This year I decided to try overwintering my pepper plants .. I trimmed them way down, and they have been happily growing and budding, and now there’s tiny peppers. Like really tiny. They seem to be ripening, but remain very small. I just ate one, and it tasted fine.

Will this start producing normal sized fruit or is it forever stunted?

  2. Self-regulate your garden! Monitor & adjust to solve problems. Spot aphids? Introduce ladybirds/bugs instead of harsh chemicals! Like life, gardening thrives on feedback & adjustments. #selfregulation #organic #gyo #backyardgarden #vegetablegarden #gardening #gardenlife #nature #gardendesign

  3. Permaculture principle: Use Stacking Functions! Design elements to serve multiple purposes. A chicken coop? Eggs, fertilizer (chicken manure!), AND pest control (they eat bugs!). Maximize your space & resources! #permaculture #gardening #chickens #stackingfunctions #growyourown #backyardgarden

  4. Maximize your homestead's harvest! 🍅🥕 We help you plan your garden for optimal yields. Get the most out of your space with crop rotation, companion planting, & more! #homesteading #vegetables #growyourown #backyardgarden #vegetablegarden #gardening #gardenlife #nature #gardener #gardenplanner

  5. Keep weeds off your veggie garden paths by laying a thick layer of straw, bark, or wood chips. These materials block sunlight, smother weeds, and create a firm, natural walking surface—keeping your garden paths tidy without chemicals! #backyardgarden #vegetablegarden #gardendesign #gardenplanner

  6. Too late to grow your veg for Christmas last year? 🎄 Plan ahead with VegPlotter for this year! Put down what you’d love to harvest—carrots, parsnips, sprouts—and prep your garden this summer. Fresh, homegrown veggies make every meal! 🌱✨ #GrowYourOwn #backyardgarden #vegetablegarden #gardenplanner

  7. Wow! 5 days later and most of the tomato seedlings have sprouted! As well as one overachieving pepper. I’m always amazed at how much faster these guys sprout in this box at 80°F. Before I built this, I’d be lucky if 25% of the peppers sprouted at all, but now it’s at least 95%!

  8. Got my seeds planted today! Romano and Seychelles beans on the trellis boxes and 12 different pepper and tomato varieties in the seed hot box! Way more than I need, but the neighbors seem to appreciate the extra pepper and tomato starts.

  12. My latest #gardening project is a seed #germination box. It’s got a plexi top, an inner plastic dome over a 72-cell plug tray, and a heat mat that keeps it a steady 80°-85°. Started it a couple weeks ago and almost everything has sprouted! Most in less than half the expected time. These are #peppers and #tomatoes. I’ve had trouble growing them in the past, until the season was half over. Looks like this is the ticket!
