  1. Kudos to #AzureSpring for managing to be the shortest #kDrama I've ever dropped.

Halfway through episode 4/6 its relentless NOISE got too much. For me, the one dominant adjective of any "healing" Drama would be "quiet". A shrill shouty 2FL to whom the FL replies in like tone? Make.It.Stop

#kDrama CAN do healing Dramas, #OneDayOff remains my benchmark, but this one felt like a compressed romcom given a healing tag because of being set on a remote island. Tsundere/omniscient ML schooling homecoming FL, with endlessly shrill 2FL was anything but healing for me

  2. When I saw that #kDrama #AzureSpring was a six episode healing drama of ~40 minutes per episode, I was excited for what I hoped would be like a maritime version of #OneDayOff
Into episode 3 and already it's achieved the remarkable feat of leaving me feeling bored. Instead of a quiet healing drama, it's been really noisy and packed with standard #kDrama tropes from dramas much, much longer. The bossy/tsundere male lead who has to teach the homecoming female lead because she knows nothing about anything, really. The wannabe love triangle with the female lead's elementary school classmate. This is not what I would call a healing drama.

  3. Last night I finished Azure Spring. It was shorter than most KDramas I've watched but I really enjoyed it. #AzureSpring #KDrama
