  1. After many years of package maintenance in #debian, I finally resolved to adopt the orphaned #autodir tool for #Linux, which is based on #autofs and we actively use at work. It used to be also packaged in Fedora until 2015.

    In the meantime, I also updated its seasoned #LDP howto, but I wonder if the Linux Documentation Project will live again or not in the future: apparently the whole project pages and mirrors seem frozen as an ice cube.
