  1. Is there a standard for indicating that a given domain should use #OAuth for logins?

For example, my webapp gets a signup or login attempt from [email protected] and does a lookup (maybe a #DNS TXT record?) and gets a result which tells me I should / must use OAuth for logins on that domain?

If such a standard doesn't exist, should it? Seems to me that it would be every useful.

Why should any believe that authorisation won’t be given? Farage, is not the only one who is keen to collaborate with Trump. Many in the other parties would do so as well. #authorisation #surveillance #PoliceState #GDPR #weakLinks #Antitrust #monopolies

Data on EU #novelfood regulations & #innovations suggests a #regulation meant to simplify product #authorisation is limited by precautionary & risk analysis principles, undermining #investors' expectations & adding uncertainty, leading to delayed #investments in new products: doi.org/10.1111/1477-9552.1262

  9. I’ve turned off the #Mastodon-to-#Twitter cross-poster I was using, as it’s no longer useful to me

I’ve also deauthorised the tool at the Twitter end

How do I revoke the tool’s ability to access my account on Mastodon? 🤷‍♀️

(Same question applies to apps etc.)

  10. This is a very great OIDC overview. If are about to implement an application, you should consider using this for your user backend.

If you are a user and want to know how "Sign-in with Google" or "Sign-in with Facebook" works, this is your chance.
