On Jun 14 2020, I filed at ATI request to Global Affairs Canada asking for a memo assessing the implications for Canada of the 2019 China-US free trade deal. Got it at the end March 2025. Nearly five years later. The documents released? 11 pages. #ATIPFail

On Dec 18 2018, I filed an Access to Information Request to Industry Canada for notes of a meeting held that month by deputy ministers about China. By law, ATIP requests must be turned around in 30 days. Well, I just got the requested records - all 18 pages - 2,181 days later. #ATIPFail #cdnpoli

In June 2020, I filed an #ATI to #DND for a memo I identified by the department's tracking number for memos. Easy to find. Got the redacted 8-page memo this month -- 1,364 days after I'd asked for it. Legislated timeline to produce records is 30 days. #ATIPFail

Under federal #ATI law, records must be released within 30 days of their request.
in late 2021, I asked the Public Health Agency of Canada for a memo it had produced for the incoming minister. The two-page memo was just provided to me -- 718 days later. #ATIPFail #ATIFail #cdnpoli

Fed-prov Nat Res ministers met May 27,2020. On Jun 1, 2020, I filed a #FOIP to #ableg govt asking for MInister Savage's notes for that meeting. Just got them today, FEB 6 2023. Under AB law, service standard for FOIP is 30 days. I got mine in 980 days. #FOIPFail #ATIPFail
