So we cross referenced the name Rory Livernois on Facebook & there he is. This man with my brother's face, under an assumed name with my dad's dog, some new dog, and rewriting his existence as a Food Truck guy selling cookies to humans and their dogs.

The last Facebook post was in October 2024. That's the last we've heard of him. So I'm holding out that he's dead.

Let's be clear: they're saying that delivering a correct HTTP status code is an "enhancement."

Can you believe that? There are international standards:

For decades, we've known what a 500 error means. But eBay's stance is essentially: "We don't care. If we send a 500, you'll have to check the response body and rewrite all your SDKs because it could actually be a false positive and really a 200 - but that's your problem to handle."

That's literally what they're telling me.

This reaches a whole new level of absurdity! We shouldn't have to rewrite our SDKs to check for false 500 errors - I don't even know where to begin. This is beyond ridiculous.

I used to think Razer's support was the worst, but congratulations eBay developer support - you've achieved something spectacular here. This is the pinnacle of poor support, and there's no level above this.

Absolutely insane, crazy, and unbelievable.
