However, if you make your way to the top of the hill, you are rewarded with nice views to Mount #Lycabettus and the #Acropolis. …

On 31-Dec 2024, I went for a walk on #Ardittos hill next to the Panathenaic Stadium in #Athens.

Officially, the area is closed to the public, and all entrance gates are locked. But from the street, you can see people jogging and walking their dogs inside, and in fact the premises can be accessed through the administrative entrance of the Olympic Games History Museum. Waste bins next to the footpaths are frequently emptied, indicating that visitors to the “forbidden” area are expected …
